Honored to have the City of Burbank host the Boards & Commissions Appreciation dinner at West Coast Customs Tuesday evening.  CEO Ryan Friedlinghaus accepted an award from Burbank Mayor, Bob Frutos.

Carlos Moreno Jr. began shooting his new short film, PANACEA, starring Kyle Devero and Chase Coleman.  Looking forward to hearing more about this cool project.

Big congratulations to Masika Kalysha and Fetty Wap on the birth of their beautiful daughter, Khari Barbie Maxwell, born March 29 at 6:07 pm and weighing 7.1 lbs.  She’s gorgeous!

In other news, Beau Casper Smart was on the riveting season finale of NBC’s Shades of Blue.  Great scene with the Emmy-award winning Ray Liotta.  Nice work, Beau!

YouTube, singer-songwriter Meghan Tonjes is starring in a new short film, Intricate Vengeance.  The triple threat covers Taylor Swift’s Bad Blood for the movie teaser.

YouTube lifestyle/fashionista Sierra Furtado has designed a Prom dress line for Windsor. Hosting meet and greets all across the country, this Saturday she hosts a 12 pm meet up at Great Lakes Crossing Outlets in Auburn Hills, MI.

September Recap!

Lynch Archer PR had an amazing and busy month… but what’s new?!

We celebrated our CEO’s birthday, Cheryl Lynch, in true LAPR style of course! We decorated her office and surprised her in the morning!  She also received very special gifts from her clients including a bottle of Don Perignon from Beau Smart and gorgeous bouquets from the boys of Emblem 3, Matt & Gloria Barnes and more!  A few of the JLo Dancers even came by and surprised her with all kinds of sweets from cupcakes to chocolates!  Guess that’s what happens when you take such good care of your clients!

We also celebrated Rick Thorne in ‘The Other F Word’ which after a very successful launch last year, landed on Netflix and is available streaming now! Such a great movie, check it out!

LAPR moved into hyper gear with Jennifer Lopez‘s dancers and choreographer Beau Casper Smart to help them launch their new series on NUVOtv, A Step Away! The docu-series followed JLo and her dancers on her first ever world tour and was a massive hit for her new channel! Here’s a behind the scenes look at one of many interviews in Sept leading up to the Oct 3rd premiere date with Beau Smart and Jimmy RO Smith!

Lynch Archer PR helped NUVOtv shoot the new season of their hit comedy show, Stand Up & Deliver! Comedians from Chelsea Lately to Comedy Central and more taped their best stand up for the show!

 

September also saw some great premieres including HBO’s Boardwalk Empire which Los Angeles Clippers’ Matt Barnes attended as well as other LAPR clients!

CEO Cheryl Lynch and others in the office also had a blast celebrating Los Angeles Dodgers’ Matt Kemp‘s birthday in Sept!

 

As huge music fans, LAPR was also stoaked to have Beau Casper Smart attend Frankie J‘s exclusive album listening part at Lure nightclub in Hollywood! What a wonderful night with wonderful people… and amazing sounds!

 

LAPR also helped choreographer Beau Casper Smart and JLo Dancer Jimmy RO Smith hit up HLN’s Showbiz Tonight to promote their series on NUVOtv, A Step Away! Check out the backstage pic! It was a blast to have our clients on the show and a huge success!

 

We also helped the JLo Dancers set up a one-of-a-kind live chat with their fans prior to their show’s premiere with Beau Casper Smart, Jimmy RO Smith, and George Jones Jr!  It was hosted by Extra TV and Stuart Brazell! Tons of fans chimed in with all of their questions for our clients about touring with JLo, their new show and so much more!

 

And we ended September on an amazing note at the 2013 ALMA Awards with lots of LAPR clients in attendance!  It was a long night of work but clients in attendance not only walked the red carpet and had amazing interviews but also scored amazing seats for the entire award show and exclusive after party access! It was a night to remember!

 

 

We had another busy month to say the least, with this just being a few of the highlights, but it’s always a mixture of work & play with such a great array of clients we are blessed with!

Matt Barnes was featured with his wife Gloria Govan and their twin sons on the cover of Ebony Magazine. Their feature came out just in time for the 4th of July Holiday.

Barnes also had the opportunity to talk to ESPN Radio, KNBR Radio, and NBC Sports Radio this week regarding trade news. He is a free agent starting July 1st, concluding his season with the LA Clippers. Many fans are hoping Barnes gets to stay in Los Angeles. Jeremy McGrath Announces Split from Current Off Road Racing Team – Stronghold Motorsports

Lynch Archer PR Entertainment client Jeremy McGrath has parted ways with Stronghold Motorsports.

Although McGrath will not race the remainder of the stops on the 2013 Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series, he will be working to put together his own race program as a team owner and driver for the 2014 season.  He looks forward to being back on the track in 2014 helming his own race effort.

Big news in Motocross over the weekend!

The 97th running of the Indianapolis 500 took place Sunday, May 26th, at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.  The race consists of Thirty-three IZOD IndyCar Series driving the 500 mile, 200 lap race.   Troy Lee Designs was the company of choice for custom helmet design and paint to some of the world’s fastest racers participating in this legendary event.

Seven-time Supercross champion, Jeremy McGrath also has a sucessful weekend at the Southern California stop of the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series.  The race began with a rough start as he had to end his race early on Saturday due to issues with his oil pump belt.  But McGrath finished strong on Sunday after the Stronghold Motorsports crew made some quick fixes, placing The Water Warden/Loctite #2 Pro 2 up to 4^rd place.

“We had an up and down weekend! Saturday was a bummer but Sunday’s race was just awesome! I went out with a win or crash attitude and came from the back to one spot off the podium! I was very happy with Sunday’s performance!” said McGrath.

Thrilling week for LAPR- Interviews and Upfronts

After the great Mayweather fight in Las Vegas, client Bikini Brigade LA headed back home. The ladies worked the fight as ring girls, modeled and promoted products at the Supercross finals, and got to attend hot new club Hakkasan where Calvin Harris and Tiesto performed. They even ran in to Neil Patrick Harris!

At the supercross finals, client Jeremy McGrath was able to reveal the winner of his $20,000 scholarship. It was Alex Northcutt, who will use the money to further his education and pursue his dreams of working within the motorcycle/ motocross industry. Congrats, Alex!

 

The LAPR social media and events team treated themselves to a night out to celebrate the anniversary of the London Hotel in WeHo. It was a great event with some old friends and some new opportunities.

Lynch Archer then celebrated Mother’s Day! A great reminder to thank all our clients, clients’ wives, and our own moms for always being there for support.

LAPR was delighted to be invited back to ESPN’s Sports Nation with client Matt Barnes. He was even in-studio for their surprise Taco Tuesday skit, where Matt got to chow down on a taco during the commercial break.

Though Matt suffered a great loss already in this playoff season, he was able to make an impressive 30 points in his last game. He has spent the last few weeks opening up to the media about his future as an NBA player and the future of the LA Clippers team. He will be a free agent this summer, but has made it known that he and his family love LA. Being a UCLA grad, Barnes has strong roots in the area. The WME Tennis Classic is finally just around the corner! The annual event lets us catch up with old friends from the Bogart Pediatric Cancer Research Center. LAPR loves to do charitable events with them, as theirs is a great cause that helps children with cancer. The tennis classic will feature many celebrities who will come out for a day of doubles tennis in the sun.

Other than TV pitching in NYC and Hollywood events in LA, the team has their sights set on plenty more to keep them busy in the next few weeks including Cannes Film Festival, Billboard Music Awards, ESPYs, the Fast and the Furious premiere, The Hangover premiere, and much more!
