The First Annual Celebrity Flag Football Game this past Sunday was a huge success for all who attended but more importantly for Athletes vs. Cancer and The Snoop Youth Football League!
The bleachers at Palisades Charter High School were full of fans as their favorite singers, actors, NFL and NBA stars prepped for the big UCLA vs.USC game. The live twitter draft took place the night before the game with Snoop and Matt battling back and forth for the best players.
The VIP section of the field was full of S.W.A.G. thanks to our sponsors: BeTini, One Vodka, Core Power, Hansen’s Lemonade, Quest Nutrition, Art San Sports Massage, Red Bull Adidas, RMM, and Body Armor.
It was a close game but two late touchdowns from Metta World Peace and an interception for Nick Young gave Team Snoop/USC the 63-56 victory.

Last night Sony teamed up with Matt Barnes and Gloria Govan for a screening of White House Down. Those in attendance filled up two theaters including VIP guests Chris Paul, Quinton Aaron, Laura Govan, Omar Gooding, and X Factor’s Melanie Amaro! At check in guests were able to make donations to Barnes’ charity, Athletes V Cancer. Overall the night was a huge success for Team Barnes and the evening was topped off with an after party at Rush Street.
The weather here in LA has been great, and this week we even got a little sunburn!
Last weekend, Lynch Archer was honored to participate in 2 great charitable events. The first was Walk to Africa.
There was a great turnout of participants of all ages and races at the walk which started at a park in Santa Monica.
There were fun games for the kids and many sponsors donated great products for the participants. The Walk to Africa raises awareness of the need for medical missions to Africa and provides funds for Lighthouse Medical Missions. You can learn more about them here: http://walktoafrica.dojiggy.com/ng/index.cfm/a6326d/regPages/pages/?p=101296
The second event for LAPR was the WME Tennis Tournament.
The annual event raises funds for the Bogart Pediatric Cancer Research Center. You can learn more about the foundation, which helps children with cancer, here: http://bogartfoundation.org/
LAPR was happy to ensure both healthy events were provided with RedBull energy drinks and Quest Nutrition protein bars. Thanks, RedBull and Quest!
Than you to Asics, Riviera Country Club, and Coco Libre as well!
Both events were a joy to be a part of.
